Clear through the night and warm, near 80°F at dawn over the open-air pool. The heat came fast. By early afternoon the air felt like 96° with a gusty breeze, and a thunderstorm broke over the city around 4pm, hard rain for two hours that dropped the air into the low 80s. It cleared by eight. The evening session went ahead under a warm, mostly open sky.
