Cool and blustery through the small hours, the air near 51°F under low cloud and a south wind rising. Showers came and went through the morning and by late morning the wind was hard. The afternoon warmed to near 69° under the grey, and the rain came back in earnest from mid-afternoon, steady for three hours and heavy at times. Then the wind swung round and the sky tore open. Evening cooled fast and clear, near 37° by midnight with the wind still blowing.
