A front went through before dawn. At midnight the air felt near 60°, and by three in the morning it had fallen into the low 40s with a hard wind and the sky closed over. It stayed raw. The afternoon hovered in the upper 30s under thick cloud, the wind easing slowly, and the taping began at dusk with the city grey and cold outside the studio doors.
