Mild before dawn, the air near 60° with a breeze already up off the water. The morning warmed and the wind warmed with it. By afternoon it was blowing hard out of the south and the air felt near 77°, cloud tearing over in pieces and the palms working. Nothing fell. Evening eased the wind but not by much. The air stayed close as the dark came, the kind of night that never quite cools.
