Cold in the small hours, the air near 28° with cloud closing over before dawn. Rain came with the morning, cold and steady under a grey sky, well over half an inch before it was done. Then in the early afternoon the cloud tore apart and the sun came through, the air rising to near 49° by late afternoon. Evening cooled fast. By late the wind was strong and the air was falling under a broken sky.
