Fall of the Berlin Wall

Fog and raw cold in the small hours, the air near 31°F and a stiff breeze that made it feel less. The fog held through sunrise and most of the morning, the city grey and close. Then it lifted. For a couple of hours around midday the sky opened and the sun came through thin, the air reaching near 42° in the early afternoon. Low cloud closed back over by 3pm. The evening was damp and still near 40°, the breeze gone, the sky shut again for the night.
