Fog through the small hours, the air feeling near 24°F at midnight and the calm unbroken. Then a breath of wind. It came before dawn, slight at first, and by early afternoon a light breeze was moving the air for the first time and the cold had eased to near 35°, the low cloud still pressing down. The fog thickened again after dark. The evening stayed milder with the breeze still moving, near 37° by late.
