Fog from the first hour and no wind at all, the air feeling near 22°F before dawn and wet with it. Nothing moved. The light came late and dim, a few thin minutes of sun showing through around midday as the air rose to near 34° by mid-afternoon, and then the dark came early and the fog thickened again. Still and raw. The evening held near 28° without a breath of wind, the cold settling into everything.
