Snow and a wild wind through the small hours, the air feeling near 6°F and the gusts past 50 mph. It never stopped. The snow came down hard through the morning and kept on all afternoon, the wind easing only a little as the hours went by, the air near 14° at midday and the drifts climbing. Then it thinned. By evening the snow had given out and the wind was finally dropping, near 13° by late.
