Storms in the small hours, thunder near 4am and again near 7am, with hard rain and the air near 83° and thick. They cleared by mid-morning. The heat came with the sun, near 96° by mid-afternoon under a nearly empty sky, the air drying as it warmed. A breeze from the northwest did little. Evening stayed warm and the sky was clear from end to end.
