Clear and cold at midnight, the air feeling near 30°F with a sharp wind and the stars out over the rooftops. It stayed that way until dawn. Cloud came over through the morning and closed in by noon, the cold easing to near 41° in early afternoon as the wind dropped away to nothing. Then the rain came. It began around 7pm and kept on into the night, the air near 29° by late.
