Grey from the first hour. Cloud sat over everything through the small hours near 52°F and never lifted, the air damp and still at dawn and warming only a little as the morning went on. Rain began around 11am, light and steady, and it kept on through the early afternoon with the air near 54° and a breeze stiffening under it. Steady rain by noon. It eased by late afternoon with one more spell before dusk, and the evening stayed grey and close near 55° with the gusts slowly dying.
