Low cloud from the small hours and fog with the dawn, the air near 69°F and so wet it beaded on everything that stood still. The grey held through the morning. It thinned slowly from mid-morning and by early afternoon the sun was through more often than not, the air up near 85° and the damp going nowhere, a wet heat with barely a breeze in it. Thick air all afternoon. Cloud came back in the evening and the air eased only to near 75° after dark, still heavy, still close.
