Grey and cool in the small hours, the air near 53° under low cloud with a little damp in it. The cloud began breaking soon after sunrise. By mid-morning the sky was clean and blue and the afternoon was mild under it, near 62° with hardly any wind. The light was clear as glass. Evening came on cool and open, the air sliding toward 49° with every star showing.
