Grey and raw the whole way through. The small hours sat near 40° under a solid lid and a wind out of the southwest made it feel far colder. There was no sunrise to speak of, only a slow brightening near 8am. The wind kept at it through the morning. Afternoon eased to near 44° and that was the best of it. Nothing fell. The cloud thinned a little late and the damp stayed in the air.
