Raw before dawn. The air sat near 35° and a small east wind made it feel colder still, and a little rain fell in the small hours. The sky was one grey sheet from the start. Another spell of light rain came around eleven in the morning. Afternoon lifted to near 44° but the damp stayed in the air. The cloud held on through the evening and only began to thin near midnight, the cold settling back in behind it.
