Mild for the season and damp. The small hours held near 33° under a low grey sky and the air was thick enough to feel on the face. Morning stayed dull. By early afternoon the cloud began to break up and the air eased to near 36°, the breeze light and the light coming and going as gaps opened overhead. Toward dusk the sky cleared to almost nothing and the cold crept back with it. Evening settled quiet and clear near 33°, the damp still hanging in the air.
