Mild and wet before dawn, a light rain falling and the air near 32°F with hardly any wind. Then it turned. Around 8am the wind came in all at once and the rain became snow, the cold falling so fast that by noon the air felt near 12° below zero, the gusts past 60 mph and the snow driven flat. White everywhere. The evening held near 19° below zero with the wind never letting go.
