Cool before dawn for the coast, the air near 46° with cloud scattered thin across the sky. Morning came slowly under a soft grey and the sun got through by mid-morning. Afternoon was gentle, near 57° at 3pm with a light breeze off the sea and a few stronger gusts. The sky stayed broken. Toward evening the cloud thickened and the air cooled, the last of the light going out under a low ceiling.
