Cloud built through the morning and covered the town by nine, humid and heavy, the air feeling like 82° by mid-afternoon under it, and a thunderstorm broke around 4pm with a hard downpour that dropped the air a dozen degrees. It cleared briefly. Then the cloud closed again for the evening, the air near 81° and thick as the torches were lit.
