Heavy warm rain through the small hours, the air near 56°F and the gusts already hard. It came harder still. The rain poured down all morning without a break, the gusts near 68 mph around midmorning and the air near 59° through the afternoon, warm as a spring day and soaking everything. No let-up anywhere. The evening ran on just the same, near 60° with the rain still falling hard into the night.
