Cold and clear before dawn, the air near 29° with a bitter little wind that got worse as the light came. The morning brightened and stayed sharp. Then around noon the cloud rolled over all at once and the wind rose behind it, strong gusts that funnelled between buildings and made the air feel near 37° at best. It stayed grey and blustery through the afternoon. Evening came down under full cloud with the wind still hard.
