Grey and still in the small hours, the air near 56° and wet enough to fog a window. Cloud sat low through sunrise. Then through the middle of the morning it thinned and went, and midday was clear and bright. The air climbed to near 79° by mid-afternoon. A light south wind moved through it. After that cloud began drifting back and by early evening the sky had closed again. A thin rain fell for an hour or so after 8pm, soft and warm. The evening settled damp.
