Cool and clear in the small hours, the air near 50° with a west wind already at work. Cloud gathered through the morning in loose sheets. The wind built with the day and by early afternoon the wind was strong, enough to lean on. The air reached near 60° and felt cooler than that in the wind. A short rain came through in mid-afternoon and was gone within the hour. The sky half cleared behind it. Evening was breezy and fresh with the last light going late.
