Grey and cool before dawn, the air near 49° with a wind off the sea that kept up all day. The cloud thinned for a while in the morning and let some light through. The afternoon reached near 55° under a sky that closed over again by mid-afternoon, a stiff breeze funnelling down the hills. Nothing much fell. Evening came grey and mild and a few drops came with the dark.
