Cold and clear before dawn, the air near 26° with a west wind that made it feel like winter had come back. The sun rose bright and then cloud rolled over by mid-morning, thick and fast, the wind strong and the air struggling to reach near 35° by late afternoon. Then the cloud tore away. Evening was clear and sharp and the wind eased as the cold settled in.
