The air before dawn was cool and damp, near 54°, the kind that beads on a railing. The sky stayed clear as the light came. By late morning the warmth built steadily and the afternoon topped out near 71° with a few clouds drifting through and a breeze that came and went, strongest around 3pm. Nothing in it that pressed. Evening cooled quickly once the sun was down, the air turning damp again and settling back toward the 50s by full dark.
