Brutal. Cloud sat over the range through the morning with the air feeling near 8° below zero at nine, the wind blowing hard and gusty, and light snow before dawn. The sky cleared after two in the afternoon. Then the wind rose further, gusting near gale force by midnight, and the feel fell from about 4° below in mid-afternoon to 22° below by the last hour, the coldest air of the Games.
