Wind postpones the team event at the Beijing Winter Olympics

Cold and windy from the first hour, the air feeling like 16°F below zero before dawn under a clear sky with a strong wind down the slope. The wind kept rising. By early afternoon it blew hard and gusty under a sky that never closed, the feel only climbing to about 3° below. A little cloud drifted over at dusk and went. The wind eased after 7pm. Near 11° below at midnight.
