The 2011 Malaysian Grand Prix

Warm and close through the small hours, the air near 88°F and the dark bringing no relief from it. Clear sky at dawn. The sun climbed into thin scattered cloud and the heat built under it without hurry, near 94° by 1pm with hardly a breath of wind and the air so wet that nothing dried once it was damp. It held there all afternoon. Evening brought the sun down and not much else, the air still near 89° after dark and the night ahead as warm as the one before.
