Cool and cloudy before dawn, the air near 40° and the sky broken over the bay. The cloud thickened through the morning and near 8am the thunder started, storms rolling through for three hours with heavy rain. It settled into steady rain through the afternoon, a strong wind off the sea rising behind it. The air peaked near 57° and fell back. Evening was cool and dripping and the cloud began to break late.
