Snow before dawn on a hard wind that drove it flat across the valley. The air felt near 18° and never moved far from there. It came down hardest through the middle of the day, thick enough to lose the far side of things, then eased through the afternoon without ever quite stopping. The wind fell off after dark. Late in the evening the flakes thinned to almost nothing, the cold near 16° and the quiet complete.
