Clear at midnight with the air near 55°. Cloud crept in after 3am and by dawn the sky was covered. It did not hold the heat back. By early afternoon it was near 81°, the air very dry, the kind that pulls at the lips. A breeze from the northwest carried some dust with it. The cloud burned off through the afternoon and by dusk the sky was clean. Evening cooled fast under stars.
