A few stars at midnight and then none, cloud closing over in the small hours and the air cooling toward 64°F under it, so wet that everything outdoors was beaded by dawn. The cloud went by 8am. The morning warmed fast under a clear sky and reached near 83° by late afternoon, the damp heavy on the skin and cloud drifting back through the afternoon without cooling anything. Hardly any wind. The sky shut again after dark and the air stayed thick, near 74° at midnight and no drier.
Pre-satellite record — solid, not exact. The Milanville station, 10 mi away, put the low at 53°F, 9° from the model. Where they differ, trust the station.
