Clear and cool in the small hours, the air near 60° and heavy with damp near the ground. Dawn came clean. The sun climbed fast through an empty sky and by noon it felt like more than the number said. Some cloud gathered in the early afternoon and took the edge off, the air topping out near 78° by 2pm. A light breeze off the water. The evening cooled quickly once the sun was gone and the sky was clear again by the last hours.
