Clear and cold before dawn, near 35°F, with light in the sky long before breakfast. The morning was bright and the air warmed slowly through the 40s. The afternoon reached about 54° under an open sky with a light wind. Not a cloud all day. The sun was still up late into the evening and the long northern light went flat and gold rather than dark. Cloud closed in around 9pm and the evening cooled toward 43° under it.
