The Paris attacks

Friday, November 13, 2015Bataclan, Paris, France

grey until 9am50°F

Grey and mild from the first hour, the air near 52°F under a lid of cloud that held through sunrise and the whole morning, soft and still and dull. Noon began to break it. By mid-afternoon the sky was almost clear and the sun came low and bright through the gaps, a strong wind rising behind the change and the air feeling near 48° in it by 4pm. The wind eased with the light. Cloud came back after dark and the evening settled grey and cool, the air slipping toward 44° by late.
