Showers before dawn, light ones, the air near 50° and the cloud low over the park through the morning. It never really lifted. The wind rose after ten and blew hard through the middle of the day, the sky breaking and closing, the air stuck in the low 50s, and the race ran into the evening under thick cloud with no more rain in it. Cool and grey to the end.
